Always organic, now certified!

This is a significant milestone for us, as we have always been committed to using sustainable and organic practices. For many years, we have been producing gin with the utmost care for the environment and our customers. Our commitment to sustainability has led us to carefully source our botanicals from organic farms, use renewable energy sources in our production, and reduce our waste and water usage.

While we have always been organic in practice, achieving certification was important to us. We wanted to ensure that our customers could trust that our gin meets the highest standards of sustainability and that our commitment to the environment is not just a marketing ploy. Our organic certification is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, who have worked tirelessly to ensure that Lind & Lime Distillery is a leader in sustainability within the industry.

What does being organic mean for Lind & Lime?

As a company that is passionate about the environment, being certified organic certainly means a lot to us.It means that our gin is made using 100% organic ingredients that are grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. This not only benefits the environment but also ensures that our customers are consuming a product that is free from harmful chemicals. Being organic is not only about the ingredients, it's about the entire process, from sourcing the botanicals to packaging the final product. It is about taking a holistic approach to sustainability and ensuring that our product is as environmentally friendly as possible.

What have you had to go through to achieve the certification?

Achieving organic certification is a rigorous process that involves ensuring that every step of the production process meets strict organic standards. At Lind & Lime Gin, we worked closely with our suppliers to ensure that every ingredient we use is certified organic. We also had to ensure that our distillery met the necessary organic standards, from the equipment we use to the cleaning products we use. It was a challenging process, but one that we were committed to completing because we believe that being organic is essential for the sustainability of our business.
